Bluescrew
The Bluescrew is a must have for anyone who loves the great outdoors. It will make your day!!

With a unique mechanism that provides incredible resistance in soft soils, the Bluescrew is simply screwed in and out by hand! Made from durable lightweight and reinforced plastic they are equally as effective in turf, sand and snow.

The Bluescrew has a reinforced ring at the top for your guy rope and is inserted simply by pushing down at the desired angle and turning clockwise. To remove, turn anti-clockwise whilst pulling up gently.

It's crazy! It's simple! It's AUSTRALIAN!!

Up the centre! That's what all adventurous travellers want to do and this week that's exactly what we are going to introduce. It is well worth noting that there are HEAPS of things to see and characters to meet. Take your time and make the most of a wonderful trip.

This trip tip is going to introduce Port Augusta, Pimba, Coober Pedy, Marla and Alice Springs, a trip of about 1,500km without side trips, travelling north along the Stuart Highway.

Camping and kitchens... so important and yet not always well prepared.

Our friends from OZtrail have been on the job again and have come up with a cracker of a camping companion. The OZtrail Double Pantry camp kitchen combines two of the most important things we need in the kitchen... bench space and secure non refrigerated food storage.

OZtrail Camp Kitchen Deluxe - $119.90

Once upon a time camping was primitive and not for the feint hearted. Then the guys from OZtrail joined our team and everything changed. The Deluxe Camp Kitchen is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when the right people put their mind on the job.

With one full height (83 cm) work surface and then two lower surfaces (64 cm) it is perfect to prepare meals, to do the dishes and whatever else you need a work surface for. Even better, is the design of the frame. 19mm steel tube provides the stability so when you apply some pressure the work surface stays in place.

The steel mesh shelf under the main work surface provides a place for the things you don't need now but will in a few minutes. The duck (design) feet provide excellent stability so everything stays solid. When it is time to pack, fold it down, put it in the bag and it s just another flat pack. Thanks OZtrail.

This week we are going to inland Queensland to see some wonderful sites and have a crack at some tasty delicacies along the way.  We are going to go along the Capricorn Highway (highway A4), east to west, travelling 567km through the towns of Dingo, Blackwater, Emerald and Jericho before reaching Barcaldine where you can turn north west and move towards the Gulf of Carpentaria. There are many things to see along
